Bangle sizing

Bangle sizing can be tricky, because the size of your hand determines what size bangle you can comfortably slip on.  And honestly, sometimes bangles are uncomfortable to work in, especially at a computer.

That’s one of the reasons we are so excited about the concave bangles we are banging out now. Literally, they are hand-wrought one hammer stroke at a time.

Nancy is wearing a small and her hand at the widest point when closed is about 8″, even though her wrist is 6 inches around.

Sizes are approximate for the concave bangles in fine silver. You might also find the link to information from Rio Grande helpful.

8″ — small (made from an 8″ strip of fine silver)
8.25″– medium (made from an 8-1/4″ strip of fine silver)
8.5″ — large (made from an 8-1/2″ strip of fine silver)

And, as always, if you buy something that doesn’t work, we’re here to help you.
